Jazz Party ~ Drowning

Late Monday night is the only time of the week to discuss Jazz Party‘s newbie Drowning, taken from forthcoming debut album Monday Night.  Oh lord, your wretched soul will be saved by this bamboozler of a hymn to love and sorrows, goddamn it, burn and drown them both in the spirit of this unholy gospel belter. Feel the redemption, lovers. Drown that pain and rise again.

Killer lead singer Loretta Miller confesses, “It’s about finding a release and revelling in your darkest places. The kind of song you can join in on and dance around your room in an ecstatic way.” Dance resistance is futile in this case anyway folks, Drowning dumps you like a wild wave ASAP with its mad and relentless force. Watch out.  

Releasing on November 3 and launching on November 11 at The Croxton Hotel, Monday Night will be no doubt equally as epic.
